New digital platform delivers mobile data in 200+ destinations
October 14, 2026: A Tier 1 telecommunications operator in Europe has launched a new eSIM product for international travelers. Through the digital platform, users can book mobile data packages for more than 200 destinations and activate them directly on any eSIM-enabled device, regardless of their current mobile provider.
The solution is powered by Amdocs connectX and Amdocs OCS. The operator went from project start to launch in just three months, including network and OCS integration.
The launch also marks the first deployment of connectX’s new mobile application and self-care solution, giving travelers a streamlined digital experience from purchase to activation.
