JSC Ingenium will attend MVNO Nation Europe 2026, from 3 to 5 November at Hotel Meliá Villaitana in Alicante (Spain). José Carlos Mata, EMEA Sales Manager, and Javier Ureta, Business Development Manager, will be available for meetings with MVNOs, MVNEs and host operators throughout the three days.
Why the core and BSS decision matters for MVNOs
The further an MVNO moves from a branded reseller model towards a Full MVNO, the more of its own technology it runs. A light MVNO operates its own BSS (Business Support Systems, which handle rating, billing and customer care), while thick and full MVNOs also run core network elements, the systems that register subscribers and manage voice and data sessions. MVNO Index’s own launch guide estimates 12 to 18 months or longer to launch a full MVNO, largely because the operator has to integrate and test its own core network.
How the core and the BSS are connected determines much of that timeline, as well as the operating cost and the flexibility to design new tariffs once the brand is live. This is the conversation JSC Ingenium is bringing to Alicante.
What the team will discuss
Meetings are open to MVNOs at any stage, from brands still building their business case to operators planning a move to a Full MVNO model. The team will cover the JSC Ingenium Core & BSS platform for 4G and 5G, eSIM provisioning, multitenancy (several brands operating on the same platform, each with its own configuration) and Telco as a Service (TaaS), a pay-per-use model for operators that prefer not to make a large upfront investment in their platform.
For operators preparing a platform evaluation, three questions are worth bringing to any vendor meeting: which core network elements are included and which remain with the host operator, how usage events travel from the core to the BSS for charging, and how costs change as the subscriber base grows.
