Role Overview
We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial Enterprise Account Executive — Fintech (UK) to lead our expansion into the UK fintech ecosystem.
This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on acquiring and expanding relationships with:
- Fintech platforms
- Neo banks
- Remittance companies
- Card issuers
- FX & travel money businesses
- Embedded finance ecosystems
You will own the full enterprise sales cycle—from strategic outreach to commercial closure—while helping establish Next Communications as the category leader for embedded connectivity in fintech.
What You’ll Own
- Enterprise Fintech Sales
- Build and manage a pipeline of UK fintech opportunities
- Drive outbound and relationship-led sales into:
- Payments companies
- Neo banks
- Remittance platforms
- Card issuers
- Loyalty & rewards ecosystems
- Own the complete sales cycle:
- Discovery
- Commercial structuring
- Negotiation
- Closing
- Strategic GTM Execution
- Position Next Communications as a strategic infrastructure partner
- Translate customer pain points into:
- Connectivity-led engagement models
- Loyalty use cases
- Cross-border customer experiences
- Collaborate with Product and Partnerships teams on solution design
- Whale → Pod Expansion
- Develop strategic accounts capable of ecosystem expansion
- Drive multi-entity opportunities through:
- Issuer ecosystems
- Partner banks
- Distribution networks
- Regional subsidiaries
- Support long-term account expansion and revenue growth
- Market Development
- Build relationships across the UK fintech ecosystem:
- Founders
- Product leaders
- Partnerships teams
- Innovation functions
- Represent Next Communications at:
- Industry events
- Fintech conferences
- Ecosystem networking opportunities
- Revenue & Pipeline Ownership
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting
- Drive ARR growth aligned with UK expansion objectives
- Work closely with leadership on strategic account prioritization
What We’re Looking For
Core Experience
- 5–10 years experience in:
- Enterprise SaaS sales
- Fintech sales
- API/platform sales
- Strategic enterprise business development
- Strong network within UK fintech ecosystem preferred
Commercial Capability
- Proven track record selling into:
- Enterprise fintechs
- Payments companies
- Banking or card ecosystems
- Comfortable managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Ability to structure strategic commercial conversations at C-level
Mindset
- Entrepreneurial and execution-focused
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth startup environment
- Strong ownership mentality with founder-level urgency
- Able to combine strategic thinking with commercial execution
