Job Description: Oracle BRM Operations Lead
Position Overview
The Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of Oracle BRM systems, ensuring seamless execution of billing, revenue management, and related processes for telecommunications or other service-oriented organizations. This role involves leading a team of analysts and engineers, managing end-to-end BRM operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring system reliability and compliance with business requirements. The Operations Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- System Management and Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of Oracle BRM systems, including billing, payment collections, ticketing and Data fixes.
- Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability of the BRM platform.
- Manage and execute business operations jobs such as billing, collections, and invoicing using Oracle BRM Business Operations Center.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to billing and revenue processes.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Lead and mentor a team of BRM support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Provide guidance on Oracle BRM configuration to meet business needs.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
- Process Optimization and Improvement:
- Spearhead continuous process improvements in end-to-end billing and revenue management workflows.
- Conduct gap analysis, define business processes, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align BRM processes with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Expertise and Implementation:
- Oversee end-to-end BRM implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, including integration with other systems like CRM, order management, or financial systems.
- Utilize Oracle BRM tools such as Pricing Design Center (PDC), to configure charging, billing, and subscription models.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Support:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients or internal stakeholders, providing expertise in billing, revenue recognition, and collections strategies.
- Manage escalated customer inquiries and resolve billing disputes to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Maintain audit trails and documentation for all BRM operations and transactions.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Oracle BRM, with at least 2-3 successful end-to-end BRM implementations
- Proven experience as an operations lead or shift lead in a production support role for Oracle BRM.
- Strong background in telecommunications billing, revenue management, or related domains (e.g., BSS/OSS).
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of Oracle BRM, including Pricing Design Center (PDC)
- Experience with BRM APIs, and Unix-based environments.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
